Downright IRRESPONSIBLE!!

My 3 smses on 16/11/11 to the REGISTERED PROPERTY agent in KL which are self explanatory ......

"Jxxxxx, I am very annoyed that you've allowed people to move into my house without my consent. You have abused the power as a negotiator who has been entrusted with the keys solely for viewing purposes. As such, please ensure these people move out within a week from today, failing which a police report will be lodged against you."

"Jxxxxx, please also ensure that these people move out voluntarily in a peaceful manner without causing any damage to my property whatsoever, failing which you will be held fully liable to restore and make good the damage to its original condition within 2 weeks."

"Please only communicate with me when your trespassers move out from my premise within the week. I do not wish to be further agitated and produce medical certification of high blood pressure as a result of this issue and bill you the medical fees. Please allow me the peace of mind. Thanks."

It was not until the first sms was sent that the agent made NUMEROUS persistent CALLS pleading leniency. Prior to this, right from the very beginning, she had stinged on calls. I have always been the one calling and reminding her that she does not work for FREE!!

Relent, I will not, as this drastic measure was only resorted to in response to her earlier lackadaisical attitude towards my calls with always "Mdm Wong, I'll get back to you" which never arises!!

She was probably mad because I had screamed at her then for allowing these people to move in sometime last week of October even before rental/utility deposit was banked into my account and agreement executed!! Ain't this HORRIFYING? Conspiracy between them? Or is it COMMON PRACTICE in KL for tenants to move in first??? WHAT A JOKE????!

The first sms was sent when she did not get back to me after my last call to her at 10:11am advising her that money was still not banked in as promised.

By the way, this house was bought through her back then.

Anyong haseyo!!!

Homecoming has never been more overwhelming! With nine dogs, having sent Curoii, the rotty to board at Leslie's home, the house was literally brought down with their barking. Crunchy went berserk, attempting to dash through the glass door, while Cuddles and others leaped high and low in a race to be embraced. Canon, being more mature, looked on nonchalantly, gently wagging his tail, counting the days??!! MOM is finally HOME having been away since 5 am 10/10/11!!

And, Tham?? the Cambodian maid, had put on 3kg and very much fairer! Not surprising though, since her only task in my absence of a week entailed solely watching over my babies said she!!!


Why no shots depicting me except for the group photo? Well, had I been photogenic, splashing across this page would have been me, staring and smiling into you!!!

Despite constant reminders that I should have photographs taken for remembrance, I shied away as photographs snapped had never done me justice!! A podgy aged Indonesian maid, that's precisely how I look in snapshots, a far cry from ahem, my real self is DEFINITELY NOT FOR MEMORIES!!!!....

What the deuce!!!

Ca-Ryn's flight back to Beijing en route KL via MAS, midnight tonight, was cancelled all because she did not board the flight she booked from KL to Pg when she returned on 27/09!!

It was a precedent amongst commercial airlines which do not include Air Asia and Firefly, that any segment flight not boarded will result in an automatic cancellation of all other flights that followed, without further reference to you!

In this case, though Ca-Ryn had paid for the return tickets from Beijing/KL/Pg and Pg/KL/Beijing, declining the seat from KL to Pg cost her the loss of seats from Pg/KL/Beijing as well! What logic is there? Moreover, at KLIA, Ca-Ryn had specifically informed the personnel-in-attendance of her confirmation from Pg/KL/Beijing when she was not allowed to reschedule her flight from KL to Pg then! Hell! yet another case of administrative incompetence!!

Now, my poor darling is put on wait list for the delayed flight @ 2am! Apparently, flights to Beijing are all fully booked to the 9th of October!!!

Alas! The much awaited convocation!

My favourite words when I was decades younger! Those were the days when I would be attired in the hottest pants, micro-mini skirts, body hugging and off shoulder apparel pairing with stilettos, subjecting myself to raised eyebrows of ahem.... appreciation...!! Egoistic huh? I was tall, slim and alluring then ..... exuding confidence with an air of arrogance!!

"You're very pretty!" were compliments I received, even from lady strangers then! While most would have demurred, I accepted the flattery with a "I thought so too, myself!"

Decades down the road, I ballooned from a sized S to a sized XL stumpy old lady, with fats all over! Imagine, weighing 73.6kg at the peak, way back in October 2008, standing at a height of 165cm. In fact, I started dispensing with new clothing as from sized L since I'll never do them justice, and kept squeezing into my ill-fitting jeans till I could zip up no more!! New larger sized purchases would mean more room for expansion which I could literally do without!!

What could have contributed to the weight gain? Kim's sugary food? Stress? Metabolism rate slowing down?

FLAUNT, I can, no more.... instead, reminders of yesteryears aplenty, from past acquaintances and friends with shocked expressions!... "I couldn't recognise you!".. "How come you're so fat now?"... "I used to envy you" ... "She was so attractive THEN!" ... "So sexy THEN!" ... "So svelt THEN!" ..... THEN! THEN! THEN!

Even Renee couldn't resist this ... "Auntie Leena, what's over you? I used to admire you so much as a little girl! You were so pretty!" to which I teased.. "Dear, why didn't you tell me THEN? Why rub salt into my already badly sored ego, huh? So wicked of you....." sob..sob..

I was still pretty attractive after having had Al-Wyn and Ca-ryn and, within the first year of operating the pet shop, running around in high heels THEN! Chiew used to tease that my looks contributed to the brisk sales of puppies THEN! As if ..... Seriously, it was my KNOWLEDGE of breeds that SELLS!!....
