The coach was driven to a deserted area. Terrified, I bolted through the door the instant the bus stopped. Fear mounted, when I realized the exit opened to a sea of trees with exceptionally low lying branches.
Hunching through the branches, I made a futile get-away as burly thugs who sprung from nowhere surrounded me! Noticing, at a distance, a woman tending to her garden with a child playing by her side, I screamed for HELP!!
She, somehow, seemed oblivious to the commotion, leaving me the alternative of running right into the arms of these ruffians or leaping to a level below the ground .... a GRAVEYARD!!!
Just then, with heart thudding hard and fast from the nightmare, I WOKE up to a KNOCK on the door. NEVER before was my MAID such a WELCOMING SIGHT!! It was her daily routine of taking Cuddles out to ease herself at the balcony at 7.00 am.
Next, driving along Lebuh Naning, I came upon a massive funeral parlour fronting a T-junction, one I never noticed before!
Soon after, when asked, Al-Wyn mentioned that his girlfriend's father provides services of the WAKE & BURIAL!!
I felt tremor through my spine. It gave, still is, giving me the shudders!! I discouraged the relationship!
From young, many a time, my dreams forewarned me of forthcoming events, good or bad ......
Year 2010, saw nightmares of mounting down stairs, down hills, stumbling upon cemeteries, losing un-bled tooth ... bringing disastrous misfortunes!!!
My family never doubted my sharing and Al-Wyn had, not too long ago, complained, dreaming about losing an un-bled tooth and had been asking about poison arrows!
Call it superstition, my across the street neighbours's placing of their TRASH bin, months back, fronting my main door is a contributory factor to the un-rest, hampering the good feng shui I've been enjoying the past decade. Bad FENG SHUI! Haha, I'd need an experienced geomancer's guide for warding off this bad chi!!

A selfish Mom, I am.....
Settle for someone who loves you more than you love him or her apart from the criteria set forth hereunder, otherwise stay single....that's precisely my advice to my children.
Ca-Ryn's Mr Right would presumably one who comes from a well-to-do family, presiding a promising career, at least 5 years her senior, tall, handsome and suave failing which he is of no match for my intelligent beauty coupled with a pleasant disposition!
Ideally for Al-Wyn, would be, from a decent home, a tall attractive woman, adequately educated, several years his junior, who would not mind eventually being a homemaker if need arises, or if she so desires, run her own business without neglecting family priorities. Falling short of aforesaid, the woman is of no match for him, a man of large calibre!
For as long as they REMAIN my children, my ENDEAVOUR to ensure their sedentary cushioned lives, will never come to a HALT!!!
Which parent doesn't hope the BEST for their LOVED ONES???

Slapped with a RM1,311 bill!
I had my incisor extracted sometime last year after persistent pestering from my siblings. This tooth had somehow jutted due to aging shrinking of the jaw?? Today, all set for a tooth implant at Rm6,000, I was told it could not be performed for the space between teeth is too narrow! "Your advice then, doc?" "Marlland I hope I got it right bridging," he offered.
"So, how much does it cost?" "Rm800." I sighed a relief .... viola! saved Rm5,200! With the scheduled hour for supposed tooth implant in mind, I told him to scale my teeth instead.
He gladly obliged ... then suggested ...."Shall I have an x-ray of your teeth?...This tooth needs restoration ... this one too ..... and this .... and ..."
Aiya, with Rm5,200 saving, do wat you like lor .... restoration? not tooth decay wor, necessary meh? x ray? wat for man? braces some more ...wanna torture me ar?
"Leena, scaling to be continued next visit alright? Also be prepared for one molar implant each on upper and lower jaw."
Meaning I gotta cough out Rm12,000 ar? No discount meh? Do so much aleli wor?
And the reply ....fixed across the board or words to that effect!!
What a PRICE to pay? Loan ..... from anyone?
