Nuclear family's bond severed!....

"Hi Mdm Xxxx wassaup?.... Clippers? ..... No worries, I'll courier to you..... So how have you been?"

She feels lonely... Lonely? When she's surrounded by her children and husband, running their family owned factory under the same roof???

Apparently, all her children have moved out from home since last year end.... Why?

This Xxxx family, were my most valued customers. Not only because of the fact that they had always spent lots of $$$$$ each time they patronized my shop without a bat of their eyelids!.. but also because of their humble, bubbly, friendly, easy going disposition! 

Super rich though they may be, never once did the senior or junior Xxxxs throw their weight around! Ever so courteous when requesting for assistance whatsoever!

Their display of concern and affection for one another too, never failed to awe me....

Prior to my handover of business, I was introduced to the eldest child's girlfriend. A tall slender, very fair and clear porcelain complexioned attractive lady who is a medical doctor by profession!

The woman is as pretty as the son is good looking! A handsome couple and a perfect match! Nobody could ask for more!

However, it is a shame that the family has parted ways with the emergence of this woman within less than a year of her relationship with the son!

Citing incompatibility with the sister-in-law to be, the 2 daughters moved away from home, one to Singapore and the other to Kuala Lumpur, giving up on their family business while the son cohabitates with the woman! The youngest son is currently pursuing his degree in United States.....

Many a time, the bond, no matter how strong it is within the nuclear family, is broken when the children of marriageable ages introduce their other halves.....that someone capable of extending or breaking the family!!!.........

Oh nooOooo!....My feasting indulgence is back!



It had been a whole week of high caloried food!

This bak kut teh meal, was what I just had at rou gu cha King, Gurney Plaza!

My waistline is gradually thickening!

By way of expressing their appreciation with regards to our referral marketing by word of mouth, the management of E&O Property Development treated Leslie and I, ahem! the selected few, to a meal at delicious, Straits Quay......

  

Fullhouse?

 

I stepped into Fullhouse, Penang Times Square, awed by the cosy setting, pictures of which I'll snap on my next visit to the hair salon and upload thereafter.

As I mounted up the stairs leading to the hair salon, diners were seen busy, posing and clicking away their cameras and camera phones!! 

If not for my mobile phone's flat battery, I would have joined the crowd like a country bumpkin!!

While I waited for my appointment at 2pm, I pampered myself to the set lunch which proved to be quite a big MEAL, considering my attempt to keep trim!!

At five-ish, I walked out of the salon with my hair dyed burgundy red!!! 

Traditional Thai Massage

 What's more relaxing to start off the week than a massage carried out by experienced masseurs?

Engaging techniques similar to yoga, my limbs were arched and bent like a rubber toy!!

My initial fear of a sprained or fractured limb was soon replaced by sheer comfort when I felt my sore muscles relieved on pressure points!!

Despite all the oooUch!... ooOooh!... OW!....walaOE!....I enjoyed all my sessions immensely! Sadist, am I? 

My first yoga experience!

I went unprepared for a session at the Penang Swimming Club, with no mat, but was fortunate to be offered one left behind by one of the members!

Within 20 minutes of the warming up exercises, I was already panting heavily with beads of perspiration all over me! It must be the weather...... I cannot be that unfit??!

Nausea overcame me by the next couple of minutes that followed! Halt!! No way I'm gonna be pushing myself! As it was, I found it torturing!

I sat up, facepalmed!...then, consoled myself, with the thought that it was my first attempt while the rest were already seasoned with years of experience!

Yoga is all about physical, mental and spiritual discipline.

To ensure that I follow through the sessions, I commit by investing Rm150 for a new mat that comes with a top loading drawstring bag!

Walking with the bag slung over my shoulder, I felt great, exuding the air of a yoga aspirant!! :):)

Hmm... pretty nice new look, eh?

Yay! I made it! Blogger hiccups overcome! At least the initial part of it! The previous post which was all but a mess, with no paragraphing, has since been rectified!
Google search engine was full with bloggers displaying annoyance over the updated blogger interface which is supposedly more user friendly amidst selection of new designs!!
Running through the comments, I could not help but be amused by one berated blogger who was so frustrated to the extent of threatening to shatter her computer to million pieces!
Compared to my biting of lips, clenching of fist and cursing as I was struggling to make good my predicament, she was even more petrifying!
In my case, as I was already experiencing mouse /keyboard/system problems, I couldn't really figure out what went wrong!
What I'm pretty sure is that I'm still not able to edit the written posts from my iPad as before! Anyone able to assist?...sigh....
