I was born a Buddhist, accepted Christ, not baptized, during my secondary student days and couple of years thereafter till now ....???....
As a mark of respect, I do pray to my husband's deceased parents and ancestors once daily though.
I gather that only the weak willed and the troubled seek solace in a religion. By this statement, I am aware I have offended many readers of this blog. Here, I offer my sincere apologies!Since all religions practice divine teachings, they cannot be no good, right? And, if by embracing a religion, you are able to achieve a sound mental health, go for it!
I do believe in the existence of a supernatural power though, and for easier comprehension, will term it simply as God! For as long as I practice good faith and do no evil, I believe MY God will watch over me.
The Star Thurs 02/02/12 Of late, through newspapers, television and Internet, spirits, ghosts and god related news kept flashing before my eyes as though some supernatural power is attempting to reach for me!
Sometime last week, out of the blue, an ex-client requested me via an SMS to check out a blog whereupon a teenager supposedly shared an almighty pastor's ability which he witnessed with his own eyes and the mention of Jesus Christ!
Try as I would, I was not able to piece together what he was to impart!!!!! I found myself cursing! What the hell is he BABBLING ABOUT!!!
GRACIOUS! Surely GOD could not have sent this boy with such atrocious broken English to speak to me!? If indeed HE did, I daresay it is a FAILED MISSION!
It is not in my nature to ridicule. In fact, I feel sorry for the poor kid. I guess it must be the fact that my client had requested that I forward the SMS to friends and all, that irked me, resulting in the uncalled for sarcasm!
Would you believe if I disclose that this post had been re-typed the fourth time before it was successfully posted? Somehow, on three occassions prior to posting, the post disappeared and I was not able to retrieve them!
Creepy?
